Dish Tv HD box (AF-8012H) hanging problem solved!

I exchanged my dish TV zenga set top box with HD box with recorder few months back. Recently, It started to hang while changing the channel or pressing volume button. It hangs for some seconds only to even some minutes sometime. Which is kind of irritating to me. I posted a 'call me' request on dish TV website and immediately got a call from their side which is kind of impressive. 

I  explained the problem to the customer executive and he told me to go through below procedure:
1) Press and hold the 'menu' button until the 'Installation Main Menu' appears.
2) Go to the third option 'System Setup' and press 'OK'.
3) Another page title 'system setup' will appear. Select the third option 'Erase flash FS' and press 'OK'.
4) Warning menu will appear. Press 'OK'.
After that your box will restart and reboot. That's it!!!
Hopefully your box will start working normally..:)

Sukhbir Badal- the compulsive liar

Just watched Sukhbir Badal's speech in so called progressive Punjab summit. What I felt watching all this drama is sheer disappoint. You may wonder why disappointed??? when he was in great enthusiasm over there and was talking about such good things to happen in future. But what disappointed me that we are still clapping at his lies.

He never talks about  anything less than a hundred crore what ever matter he talks about. He was still cracking jokes while addressing and people were laughing like he is the world's greatest and nothing had happen in Punjab in recent past. That's where we went wrong every time in past too, We forget too fast. And he(sukhbir) knows it very well. If not, he would not be able and have the guts to talk in such a confident way. Can he justify any of his words? He says we have 2% of land of India and produce 50% of agriculture material. But forgot to mention about increasing rate of committing suicide among farmers. His words never make sense to anybody having an average common sense. He talks about huge number of industries coming to do business in Punjab. But forgot to mention the number of industries recently shifted and still shifting from Mohali to Baddi(HP), Panchkula(haryana) etc. He mentiontoned his will to encourage new startups with a huge amount of fund support but forgot to explain his interest in buying and putting share by force in already established ventures. His cheap desires of putting share in every little businesses even highway dhabas(restaurant) is not hidden from anybody of us. List is too long if we start counting his lies.

What my concern of writing this article is we need to come out of his world of lies and see the world(Punjab) with our own eyes. And I request all of you, Please don't forget too fast.

Is 'Drunk Bhagwant Maan' really a matter of such concern?

Last few days has been really tense, deciding & kind of important too for Punjab and its people, mainly the Sikhs and famers community. Lot of serious drama has been going on like protests by farmers and Beadbi of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. These matters are really serious ones and needed to be discussed and needs to be solved on a good note.

But past 3-4 days of social media really belonged to Bhagwant Maan (AAP MP from Sangrur). It is being said that he attended a religious ceremony (Akand Paath) being Drunk. I was kind of shocked reading all this on social media and newspapers. I could not believe such actions by a person like him. I mean he has emerged as a youth icon in recent past in Punjab politics. I still don't know if it really happened or just a rumour. My concern of writing this post is 'Do this matter really need such attention and reaction by us?' I mean we have some really serious matters going on. I am not saying what he did (if he did) is not wrong, of course it's not neglectable at all. But we have to understand that we got bigger problems to solve. I think matter of farmers protesting to get justice should be put on first place. We need to set our priorities. We need to make these money hungry politicians pay what they did to us.

Discussing the matters like Bhagwant maan's are really diveting our thoughts. I think we need to not letting anyone control our emotions  I hope next time we'l think for a minute before sharing a post on facebok. Let's concentrate and let them feel the power of a common man!
